That seems depressingly high, but I could well believe it.

I'm not sure why but I failed to visit this one last time I was in Lewes. I think the response by Harvey's was 100% right and hope that Tim Martin or his idiot PR henchman might take some notice of it. I remember going to the Prince Llewellyn in Beddgelert back in the 1990s when they had numerous images of fox hunting on the walls and thinking it was a bit much. They are no longer there.
The pro hunting brigade claim that they care for the welfare of animals. Going even further back to the 1970s a group of three of us were descending Scafell down to Wasdale Head in the Lakes and came across a fox hound which we took down to the pub. We bought it a meat pie which it swallowed whole! The landlord of the pub thought that the local hunt would have it put down as it had strayed off. So much for animal welfare.
I think this subject was raised on another thread.
Here: Ooops!
Gossip rather than news.Friend just text me to say the Market Porter has been shut for a week or so and when it opens after a little makeover it will be owned by Fullers.I have doubts but I will let you know when I hear further news.
