There's a new Doom Bar clip out which includes the information "Balanced and moreish". I wonder if Sharp's have changed the recipe?

Strewth Mate!
And for Caledonian Deuchers too. No wonder Malmaison translates as bad house.
I'm not all that familiar with Norwich and although I have visited it several times I haven't been to this one. I understand that today it's one of the candidates for the Beer Capital of the UK so I would imagine there is considerable competition. I don't think that cutting his real ale choice is a good decision. My problem with the city today is that it's very big and requires some effort to find your way around by bus.
TASTY!

I seem to remember when it first appeared people raved about it. It was bronze in the bitter category CBOB in 2006, two years after GKIPA got silver overall. Have tastes changed, or the beer? Or does familiarity indeed breed contempt?
As an aside, I read somewhere of people moaning that Pride had gone downhill just days ofter the Asahi takeover, suggesting that the beer in the mash tuns knew about the takeover before anyone else.
