Well done to Alan Winfield for reaching the 2000 pubs reviewed milestone.
Well done to Alan Winfield for reaching the 2000 pubs reviewed milestone.
WE ARE THE BREADMEN - UP THE BEES
Out of curiosity, following on from my thread about the pub with most reviewers reviews by aggregate, I noticed that a number of us are heading towards a 1000 - I'm about 100 off and MrB is around 50 away.
I won't tell the life insurance people if you don't...
Oh, that sort of milestone. Yes, well done - a sterling effort.
I saw the thread title and thought someone was requesting details of milestones in pub reviews. As it happens there is one outside one of my local pubs telling me it's 15 miles to London. And then there's the London Stone and... I'll get my coat.
Thanks for that Strongers,
I have been busy over the last week sorting more negatives out and putting them onto disc then add to my pub list after which i add them to PG.
Lots of London pubs coming up as i visited over 900 in London between 2004 and 2010.
Great stuff Al - I guess that means you're one fifth of the way through writing up all your reviews (presuming youve not been in any new pubs since you conceived your username! )
Look forward to reading your London reviews.

Thanks for that Pubsignman,
Yes that was why i called myself Al10000 i did my 10000th pub on 20 March 2010,since then i have been in another 233 new pubs to me things have slowed down since i was made redundent.
Regarding London reviews they wont be up to the standards of the regular London reviewers as i used to go in a pub have a half pint and write in my book if it was good or not so good, and i also listed all the real ales that were on the bar i did'nt take any notice of decor or how many rooms the pub had.
Alan
And when i saw the thread i thought it was about reviewing these chaps.

Well done to Al though that is top reviewing. I think i am up to about five.

Where I take my hat off to you Alan, is having the foresight back in the 80s to realise that one day you would have somewhere to display all these reviews, and perhaps more importantly, your pub photo gallery for all to see.
