I'm happy with November 13th if that's a benefit to others.
I can currently do any of the dates so whatever works for the majority.

Is it possible that someone with admin authority can alter the title of this thread so that we can start discussing which pubs need visiting in Beeston.
I believe a new venue for Pottle might well be open by November 13th.
Unreviewed and unphotographed Glass & Co. does seem to have 6 interesting handpumps in the CAMRA listing too.

Yep, I took a quick look yesterday and came up with a solid 9 possibilities, 10 if the Pottle does indeed resurface as being indicated. The big three seem to be Victoria Hotel, The Crown and https://www.pubsgalore.co.uk/pubs/58...uk/pubs/58180/ but some decent options around them as well. One bit of good news is that they all seem to open at 12, with the possible exception of the Totally Tapped, when Google, CAMRA and the pubs own web site all give differing times ranging from 12 to 3PM. The other two potential Micros do not open till 5PM but The Bird Hide is a bit too far out and tricky to get to and although we enjoyed Somewhere Beerhouse when we were in I’m not sure three keg beers served by table service only would appeal to a bunch of blokes on the crawl.
Although initially it would make sense to meet in The Victoria, I am wondering if it would be better to leave the best till last. The ‘Spoons is only a 14 minute flat walk from the station and I do like the idea of virtually falling out the last pub onto the train platform. But I’ll leave it up to others with greater knowledge of Beeston to advise.

On another, slightly related note.
As we have now decided on the 13th of November it means I still have the weekend of the 23rd of October free, as the good lady is in Ireland. The last time I planned to go to Coventry circumstances conspired against me and I had to cancel. So, whilst researching train and ticket options to Beeston this morning I also took a look at Coventry for the Friday October 23rd and was amazed to see £6 super saver single tickets from Euston each way available, so jumped on.
So if anyone fancies a warm up bash in Coventry on Oct 23 you are more than welcome to join me.

1) Did you find a decent spread of pubs in Cov Will?
2) What are your times Gann, the £6 ones I see take 1hr50 so a £8/9 alternative at ~1hr looks good too. Dunno if I'll be around but good to have an option.
