I've often wondered what became of the McGraws, I hope they are well.
Another member who I have wondered about, was a chap who posted photographs of pub signs. I can't remember his name, but they have deleted their membership. I know he posted a photo of the volunteer Inn in Hereford's pub sign.

Another departed with no backstory that I know of is John Bonser. He had a very specific style of reviewing.

PSM is around my age so it's perfectly plausible that he might have had kids/other pressures on his leisure time.

JB came up recently. There was some recent(ish) Facebook activity from him, and I think it was Rex that mentioned some great pub crawls they'd done together (and maybe with others too) over the years.

prolific photographers John McGraw and Graham Mason

There ended up being a bit of a turf war between them as they were competing to photograph all of Essex and then surrounding counties.

We originally had a counter showing how many photos a user had submitted as well as how many pubs, John initially would do a photo from the front and the sign which was great. Graham started doing two from the front and the sign. Then John started doing three and it all got out of hand.

Sadly in the end it was mainly down to my general lack of tact and diplomacy that both left the site. I did meet John & Liz McGraw a couple of times around 2007/08 I think, not heard from them since they left.

I think it was Spritzer Drinker; if I had the moniker 'Spritzer Swallower' above my name, I wouldn't be too happy.

Tris was the spotter, but can't remember when.

Spookily, it was at the time of my review (i.e. day before).

Anthony Collis perhaps? He was certainly a member here and was an aficionado of pub signs.
