Some great ale, special mention to Molten Universe that was in the running for BOTY until topped by Titanic Iceberg Grand Crew in NBSS Excellent form in the Tamworth Tap.Using the heavy bitterness of Iceberg to balance a rich 5.9% IPA style made this memorable and maybe difficult to top in the rest of 2026.
Next week possibly a trip out west before the start of the booze cruise so hoping for some outstanding ale.

The Bishops was essential for a tense Saints - Exeter final and the Black Iris Molten Universe another fine beer from that brewery. Can’t argue with Mr F above though: BOTW Titanic Iceberg Grand Crew. A masterpiece of the brewers art. Rich and full initially with the trademark Iceberg bitterness then kicking in demanding another. Great beer also found at the ever excellent Tamworth Tap.
