Steve of N21's review of the Jolly Sailors questions the location of Brancaster Brewery.
As Steve mentions, the brewery used to be based behind the pub but Brancaster beers are now brewed by Beeston Brewery exclusively for Anglian Country Inns which owns the Jolly amongst others. The brewery is based, surprisingly enough, very near Beeston which is also not a million miles from Brancaster Staithe.

Shame you didn't find any of their beers at the Jolly Steve as they're usually pretty good.
