Thanks for the photo, Nev.
Come On You Hatters!
Sadly looks a little bereft of traditional faces, a big thumbs up to those that made it, obviously I couldn't, great idea to combine with some discoursers ,
hopefully I can make the next one wherever but in the meantime committed to the joint trip to Frome on August 8th. So any pug-ers at a loose end on a Saturday í ½í¸‰

"Everybody's got to believe in something. I believe I'll have another beer."
-W.C.Fields
A very enjoyable day, even if we became a bit fragmented (no, that is not a new euphemism for intoxicated). I am only sorry I ran out of time with several left to do but the connections back to the proper side of the Pennines were not very convenient.
On leaving the bar, I felt a strong blow to the back of my head. Turning round, I discovered it was the pavement
I did nine pubs, which is quite enough for me these days.
I had time the next day between trains to visit the two nearest the station. The Merchants was very popular at 12:15 with all out door seats taken. Not many were on cask beers, but my Crooked River Bitter was just as good as I remembered when this was my last pub the previous evening. The Jailors Barrel meanwhile was totally empty apart from me, with a good enough Settle Ribblehead Bitter before my 12:48 train to Leeds.
