Pictures referred to Admin

Can someone tell me why the following pictures were referred to Admin?

• Mount Pleasant (The Stump) > Dudley > West Midlands at 2026-03-22 15:51:54
• Mount Pleasant (The Stump) > Dudley > West Midlands at 2026-03-22 15:51:55
• Ash Tree > Wolverhampton > West Midlands at 2026-03-22 16:09:28
• Builders Arms > Wolverhampton > West Midlands at 2026-03-22 16:19:52
• Dartmouth Arms > Wolverhampton > West Midlands at 2026-03-22 16:25:21

Yes, they were interior pictures, but that's hardly unusual.

As such, I would expect them to be supressed from the pub's main webpage, but referral seems unnecessary to me.

I always approve interior shots and then suppress them - my own included!

Me too, and likewise, but someone has taken a different approach here and I would like to understand why.

Sorry, what's this about suppression of interior pics? Does that mean they are not visible on the site? What would be the point?

Wasnae me and we can't see the photos now* so I can't comment. I can't think of many / any? reasons to refer interior shots, approve and do not show is my usual action too.

The only photos I refer are the poor quality ones; usually those that are too dark or pictures of a few lights that might be attached to a pub, photos that are mainly bins or vehicles, pictures of scaffolding, too oblique an angle, tilted at an extreme angle etc. There are a lot of quite poor photos on the site usually very badly composed ones of bits of pubs or just pictures of doors and windows, I usually approve those but tick do not show..

*EDIT my mistake we can see the referred photos and there doesn't appear anything obviously wrong with them, the pictures are from a usually reliable contributor and not one of the usual suspects for bad photos.

Agreed. How do I see the referred photos? I must have missed that bit of the training day.

They are visible on the pub's own pictures page, but not on the main page.

Go to the pub's page, click on "View all updates for XXXXXXX".

Where it says "Picture submitted by XXXXXX" there is in small letters "more" , click on that to see the submitted photo.

Clicking on "more" next to "Picture submitted by XXXXXXX approved" shows the approved photo so you can compare what is referred and what is approved.

If photos are "referred to admin" they are not visible except as I described and that may only be by admins. If an admin clicks "don't show on main page" it is as Will describes.
