August was looking a bit grim but got it up to a reasonable 20 with a thrash round Ilkley. I must be losing dedication or something but it always seems to be too hot or too wet nowadays!

On leaving the bar, I felt a strong blow to the back of my head. Turning round, I discovered it was the pavement
140 so far this year, so not a huge number. I have now reviewed every pub within 25 miles of my house, though.

August was another very good month for new ticks,31 in total taking the year to date total to 162.
A crawl in Exeter and Sawbridgeworth was supplemented by a lot of visits to unreviewed pub in Hertfordshire,so looking good for the annual double century.

Another trip into Manchester to visit 3 brewery taps, plus 3 other places. Now on 77.A trip to Bury on Friday confirmed that I'm not impressed with the options in the town.
Still, 5 new ones inluding the rather good Broad Street Social.
Now on 71.
