I seem to remember something about this before, but is Google Maps messing about again? When I click on Pub Map it comes up with "This page can't load Google Maps correctly." and opens in development mode. It's not unusable, but it is annoying.

Indeed, I spoke to him about it in Chesterfield. He has done a great job in somehow wangling access to Google Maps to date, but they have clamped down again - I think using them officially starts around £100 per month and that is a discounted rate! He is trying to fix an alternative.
