A pub is for life not just for Christmas
Kent Brewery Green Ernest at the Bricklayers.
Really good visit to a pub I'd almost forgotten about but which is relatively easy for me to reach. It was on sparkling form with, I think, 5 of the 7 pulls working with 2 'coming soon'. The 3 beers we tried were in immaculate condition, the others being Mallinsons Idaho 7 and Pillars Cold Porter, but the green hopped Kent beer just pips it...
Quiet week with BOTW going to Brancaster Wraith. A 5% Halloween special, dark, spicy and sweet but with a clever dry finish which makes the 3 pint test easy to accomplish.
