I'm hoping that we'll be joined in the Rose & Crown by my grandson, Rory. As he is only 18 months old he will be accompanied by his parents, my daughter Norah and her partner Greg. They will be driving in from near Bakewell, so they won't be stopping long, but I hope to get some photos of Rory's first time joining a pub crawl!

Thanks to all who came on our Novenber pub crawl in Chesterfiield. I had a great time and I hope everyone else did too. Here's a photo taken by one of the very friendly staff at the Rose & Crown in Brampton.

Me too.. I thought it was an excellent day and great for me to be the first time this year to catch up with good friends.
I thought the quality of the beer was excellent throughout ( I did miss the ropey Jaipur in the Anchor) and some very good traditional pubs and micros.
And although we did have to wait until The Chesterfield Arms, a very good shared pork pie in honour of Ray.

Yep, that’s what just about constitutes a dash from me ,Will and Nev nowadays. And Tris looks like he hasn’t got ‘a dash’ in him.
