New pub not approved

Not quite sure if this is the right forum to ask this, as it doesn't relate to a postcode not recognised, but it does relate to a new pub.

I added a new pub called The Salutation Inn in Topsham, Devon on the 04/08/2014. It is still pending approval 11 years later. However, I notice that somebody else added this pub on the 03/02/2024 and it was approved the same day.

I was just curious as to why theirs was approved but mine was not (mine could of course now be rejected with the reason "duplicate").

Not sure, but I suspect that the request got referred to Dave to cancellation rather than adding it and immediately hiding it as a duplicate.

However, I'm much more sure that nothing untoward happened.
