A pub is for life not just for Christmas
Kent:
Larkins-Traditional 3.4%abv: fair to middling.
Harvey's-Sussex Best Bitter 4%abv: unimpeachable, my BOTW.

Oakham -- Bishops Farewell * (>3PT)

Black Iris -- Fire Lancer *
Good Chemistry --ESB *
Green Duck -- Choc-a-Block
Vault City -- Blackcurrant Kir Royale *(keg)
Thornbridge -- Jaipur IPA * (>>3PT)
The Jaipur tasted even better post match, but to avoid being boring and always nominating it,BOTW goes to Vault City Blackcurrant Kir Royale,an 8% sour which delivered all those tastes in the Beerhouse ,an excellent micro with beer to match.
Next week more footie and a first trip to Cardiff ,looking hopeful.

Goffs Mango IPA
Grainstore Ten Fifty*
Green Duck 10,000,000 Volt Thunderbolt*
Braybrooke Keller (keg)*
Good Chemistry Extra Special Bitter*
With mentions for the Ten Fifty and Braybrooke Keller, possibly the best lager I've had, BOTW goes to Good Chemistry Extra Special Bitter. A fine, 5.6% example of the style with a malt forward beginning and a very moreish dry finish which encouraged a successful, unplanned 3 pint test. Courtesy of the excellent Beerhouse.
