That’s bad timing! I’ve been between contracts for a few months, basically taking it easy and in no rush to find anything else. But as luck would have it, I start a new contract on the 19th. I would have loved to come, but asking for a day off as soon as I start might not be the best approach!

For anyone who can't make this one, I plan to be in Cardiff area on Thursday the 10th and/or Friday 11th of July.
I had a note pencilled in about those dates, but I've now got something on the 10th, and Leeds Rhinos are playing on the 11th, so I'm going to have to give Cardiff a miss.

In Cardiff on a sweltering hot day, but I've been pleasantly surprised by the choice and quality of the cask ales encountered on the mandatory rehydration stops.
Mind you, 50% of those were 'spoons (of which Cardiff has a good supply), so that won't suit everyone!
Good to hear that you've been rehydrating conscientiously.
