Haven't been to Brighton since the PG Crawl in 2018 and looking for some recommendations for any stand out places to visit, as I may have a bit of time on Thursday afternoon.
Any help would be much appreciated

The Hole In The Wall is a must.

Agree with Mick's suggestion of the Hole in the Wall. Please also see my review of the Rook Taproom (formerly the Dispensary). I liked the Brunswick on the edge of Hove, and the Battle of Trafalgar up the hill from the station. Can't remember if you've been to the Lion & Lobster, but if you haven't, you should.
Come On You Hatters!
This thread has been on my to-do list for the last 24 hours; failing to respond sooner means Will has pretty much said what I'd say. But, to add a few more: an interesting option if rare Czech or German imports are of interest is The Brick.
If you're willing to venture into Hove, I'd recommend The Watchmakers - a micro a minute's walk from the station, as well as The Westbourne. If you went as far as Portslade, The Foghorn is the pub of choice.
As you're no doubt aware, the Evening Star, Prince Albert and Lord Nelson around Brighton Station are all worth a visit, though the latter may hold less appeal considering what's to come on Friday, given it's a Harvey's tied house
Like London, some pubs have moved somewhat away from cask and more towards craft keg, so be prepared to see a roll of paper towels where you'd hope to see a pump clip![]()

And now I've started, I can think of a couple more.........
Excellent quality in Brighton Bierhaus on the edge of Kemp Town.
Another in the Hove backstreets: The Urchin is interesting, without being an absolute destination.

Thanks all for your brilliant suggestions. Now in the Hole in the Wall, excellent. The beer is sublime![]()
