Quite hard to leave; works for a good double with The Myddleton Arms

Myddleton had no real ale today, ~13:15, pathetic.
Two (of 3) pumps had clips presented sideways (TTL and Harveys Best) but nope, nothing available. I mean, if you ran out of beer Fri night and the pub is currently empty Sat lunch, get the fuck down there and put some beer on you lazy twats..!!

ps. happily I ran into Mick again, just along at the Pocket...

Hmmm. Never had a problem with the beer there.

Was in there last Thursday (opening night) then Friday but the following Friday and Saturday it was too full for comfort so I went elsewhere; was in last night for a restful experience apart from a brief encounter with zi Germans who insisted on banging the table whilst singing bierkeller shanties until management told them to stop.

Decided to give it a go this week and sat in here now, four handpumps two of which are kitchen roll holders, one turned Harveys Sussex Best clip leaving a sole Landlord on, nbss 3. I suspect cask is on the demise.

Decided to give it a go this week and sat in here now, four handpumps two of which are kitchen roll holders, one turned Harveys Sussex Best clip leaving a sole Landlord on, nbss 3. I suspect cask is on the demise.

Went there last night to find the reversed Sussex Best clip, one unused, just the one used for kitchen roll (sadly not an unusual sight in pubs these days) then Landlord in good shape, the whole making for a quality 30-minute stay and read my paper; it had more customers in at The Pocket too at 9.25.
