I've got a couple of advance tickets for just £4.65 each, from Victoria to Lewes, arriving at 11:26 and departing 18:25, so I'll have time for a couple of beers with the Pubs Galore crew after all.
That's good news. I've also got my tickets and arrive in Lewes at 11.56,departing 20.25

I've never been there ,but with 9 GBG 2025 entries that's a very good start

I look forward to plenty of advice from folk who know this patch.

Could some kind person change the thread title,so that this can become the discussion thread for the crawl route.

I've put down a list of 12 pubs in Lewes for consideration in a possible crawl order, I guess it would work equally in reverse. I haven't worked out timings or anything technical like that. There is a view on map button if anyone's not familiar with the CAMRA site and within the map a focus on trip button which if clicked off will bring up all pubs in the area. Obviously the crawl will be quite Harveys centric but there are a number of pubs and some Free houses that offer change, on that score I've also added a craft bar and a taproom.
I'm no great expert on Lewes having only ever been twice but done most of the pubs and enjoyed them in the main.
Has anyone got any further Ideas?

Some good pubs there, though it's been a long time since I've quaffed in the town. One possible omission-https://beakbrewery.com/pages/taproom Again, I haven't been there, but I regularily drink their beer indoors.

Yes I only left Beak out because it is a little further away from the main pubs, it's one I haven't done so I probably will anyway.

Beak is about a 10–15 min schlep from The Snowdrop along the busy A26, then right at the end of the industrial estate it's located on. I visited last June as part of Dan Sandy's "That's The Beer Talking" tour, and it was mega-busy, but I don't recall a) seeing anything on cask available, and b) anything lower than 6%–7% ABV, with about a third of the offerings in double ABV territory (although I'd hope a return visit would be different). Definitely a wild card for the completists, but you're potentially looking at almost an hour taken up with getting there, imbibing, then heading back into town.

Black Horse, further along from Brewers, is variable but worth a visit on a good day. I found the Snowdrop had moved toward food and away from beer last visit, though that was some years ago. Hope to tag along to this one.

Oh dear, The Snowdrop was a pretty good beer option back in the day.
Be good to see you if you can make it.

Agree that the Black Horse is worthy to include, albeit a bit on the West end of town. The Snowdrop is not a patch on what is was back in the day but it would be churlish to omit it.
Beak is very remote on foot and doesn't open until 18.00.
The Swan is Southover is a pleasant-enough Harvey's pub but might not justify the trek out.
I note that the White Hart Hotel, which was disappointing, had new owners and a major refurb last year. Has anyone been in lately?
The Lewes Con Club might also be worth considering (former CAMRA club of the year) although opening hours are restricted. It is open to non-members from 17.00, but there is a band on after 19.00 which becomes chargeable.
On leaving the bar, I felt a strong blow to the back of my head. Turning round, I discovered it was the pavement

Not sure if I am going to make it, hoping I may be able to.
