Another new year is upon us. We go again...

The house move is definitely on for January so I am expecting a much better year!

I'll set my target to 156 this year but I'd still be happy with 2 a week (104).

Just 27 Heritage pubs in London remaining to visit - out of about 350 - with my masterplan for the year being to finally visit all pubs within the SW, SE, N, NW, E and W postcodes.

My main aim is to reach 3,000 reviews ,so a further 126 needed in 2025.Maybe keep up the 200 annual average.

Minor aim to visit all the 3* CAMRA heritage pubs in Greater London but I need to check which pubs these days are 3* listed ,my old list just shows this pub in Aveley being required but means driving around the M25 to get there.

Trying something different this year and aiming for 50 each of Reviewless and Pictureless pubs - we'll see how that goes (2 + 1 already!).

Other than that, I hope to get my Surrey reviews to 50% before completing my northerly emigration.

After a pathetic 2024 with just 55 new visits a trip to Ashton-U-Lyne on Friday netted 6 new ones.

I'm not saying the final total will be much higher than last year, but it's a start.

...and we're off. First new pub of the year. Intent this year is to finish all the pubs within 20 miles of my house then make a hole in the 25 mile radius.
