Venue for Spring 2025 PuG crawl.

With thoughts turning towards the New Year and plans for 2025,I thought it would be opportune to discuss the next meet up.If we are looking for a Southern venue then how about Cardiff ? There are 7 City centre pubs listed in the GBG , some heritage pubs and micro pubs a little further afield.Anyone been there recently with more in depth knowledge ?

I'm sure there will be other runners and riders to consider ,but thats my starter for 10.

Dunno about the spring, but I have to be in Cardiff for something else on Thursday the 10th of July, so the following day would fit perfectly for a Friday summer crawl in that city.

I thought we were avoiding summer crawls in the south. Or is Cardiff in the Midlands for climate purposes? ������

'Summer' temperatures are different when it comes to Wales, though I did get terrible sunburn on the beach at Portmeirion around summer '78, though being on Barmouth beach in the summer of 2012 reminded me of scenes from the TV series Shetland.

It is difficult for me to pin down dates in the summer due to family commitments. I was supposed to be busy that day, now I'm not, but who knows once July arrives. But if I'm free and there is even a small gathering in Cardiff I'd be there.

Haven't we had Newark on a poll a couple of times but it lost out?

Either of those would be quite good for train connections via the East Coast Main Line from London or the north, and Cross Country from Derby and Birmingham, or East Midlands from Liverpool, Manchester and Sheffield.

Any other ideas? (Not Cardiff.)
