I may have visited just prior to September but as it's my new pub of the year so far I felt that I had to sneak it in.

Community owned and unique IMHO,everybody of all sexes and ages come to this pub to simply quaff their high quality ale,many at volume.It's the sort of pub that you really dont want to win CAMRA national POTY ,despite deserving the accolade.

Septembers entry goes to The Surprise, not got around to reviewing yet but, good old school stuff, and answering Tris's question in the most recent review, it is no longer a Youngs pub but belongs to Punch.
