Some superb cask this week and best of the lot was, St Peters Plum Porter, which is odd in the fact I'm really not a fan of the more prevalent Titanic version, this one is much more complex and far better in my opinion, enjoyed more than once in The Alfred.

    All local but decent variety:

    Oakham Bishops Farewell*
    Everards Orion
    Everards Triple Jump
    Everards New World IPA (keg)*
    Burton Bridge Damson Porter*
    Abbeydale Absolution*
    Potbelly Dangerous Darren
    Blue Monkey BG Sips*
    Blue Monkey Infinity +1*
    Fierce Dark Synth (keg)
    North Riding Mosaic Pale*
    Ashover Zoo*
    Everards Hi-Fi

All decent with any of those starred worthy winners, especially the Absolution which was as good as I've had in the Seven Stars. BOTW has to be Blue Monkey Infinity +1 which was just superb in Early Doors.

My plans for a wander round Leeds on Friday went completely awry. In the end, I only managed a solitary pint. Fortunately, it was good enough to be nominated.

    Roosters - London Thunder.
