And Beeston High Street now has two Micro pubs after the addition of this one Somewhere Beerhouse
I would certainly be up for a longer crawl of Beeston after my limited visit last month.

Personally I would probably support Nottingham as I need more pubs there, provided we could determine a sensible list without too much walking as there are many temptations a away out. I did Beeston last year and there are perhaps 10 pubs worth visiting including some rather good ones, which would make for a nice relaxed day (always with the option of hopping on a tram into Nottingham for the evening). Earlier last year I also did Chesterfield/Brampton Road which is also viable, although some of the pubs are probably not up to PuG standards and it really needs a taxi back to the town/station. Coventry I last did a small batch in 2021 and it didn't strike me there were that many good ones close to the centre. Any other options in the West Midlands?
On leaving the bar, I felt a strong blow to the back of my head. Turning round, I discovered it was the pavement
Nottingham just needs some thoughtful planning,it's a large Victorian city where the decent real ale pubs are a bit spread out and the hill up to Canning Circus ,where there are a number of pubs worth visiting,is quite a tough walk.Last PuG visit we crawled up to Canning Circus with several pub stops on the way which mitigated the climb, plus it's all downhill from there.
Walsall could be an option, not too much walking and on the level with 9 GBG entries.

Any more midlands destinations in the offing? Time moves on and we should be as well with a poll, mentions so far are Nottingham, Beeston, Coventry and Chesterfield, two or three more possibility's would be good, my midlands knowledge is not all that so nothing from personal experience that hasn't already been done.

Cough!
Nev did mention Walsall, though he was fairly quiet about! Here's a link to a "trip" with the eight GBG pubs nearest to the centre of Walsall. Of course, a new GBG will be out before the actual crawl takes place.

And here's a "trip" with 10 GBG pubs in Lincoln. Warning: Lincoln is on the hill and down below, so there's quite some distance between to cover. (Also the Birdcage was pretty crappy when I was there in February. The Cardinals Hat made up for it though.)

I think that’s a solid 6 to choose from..
Nottingham, Beeston, Coventry, Chesterfield, Lincoln and Walsall.
So would someone like to put the usual poll together. And as time is marching on would it be pertinent to select the date at the same time?
