Good to meet you all again.

First pub Adam&Eve then Beeheadz were my favourites. Hope all the accomodation and trains work out ok...

Great to see you again, too. Sorry you didn't make it to the Cardinal's Hat, best pub of the day for me, and the only beer I had twice: Acorn Phantasm. Fantastic!

Really good to see everyone again yesterday and I hope those staying over had a good curry and wish those carrying on in Nottingham a good day today.
Lincoln really is a picturesque city to crawl around and thought most of the pubs we visited were very solid. Struggling to pick a POTD but especially enjoyed the relaxed ambiance of the Joiners Arms after finding the Smugglers banged out.
And the comedy interlude provided by the fake Yorkshiremen was a Brucey bonus.

Trying a few of the unrecommended.

Wetherspoons by the lake was decent enough, the Square Sail. Now in the Witch & Wardrobe which is utterly bizarre. Looks fine on the map - but was full of bar blockers at 10:45 on the Cola. I got a few stares. Wainwright is perfectly fine but not really sure what I've intruded in on.

The music playlist did literally go from Pavarotti to Prodigy.

Great day out yesterday, so thanks to those able to make it...

Went to the Witch & Wardrobe for a noisy nightcap last night (very busy compared with some other venues I passed), and to the Square Sail for a calmer breakfast this morning.

I ran into them again a bit later - pointed them at Beerheadz.

It was indeed a very pleasant day - weather, pubs and beer were just right. Plus the company, of course!
On leaving the bar, I felt a strong blow to the back of my head. Turning round, I discovered it was the pavement
