I am sorry to report that I have managed to develop a nasty autoimmune condition* which has rather knocked me for six and rendered pub visits impossible at the moment. Hopefully things might improve with the right medication but it can be a long job apparently.
Have a good one in Halifax and I look forward to meeting up at some future date, with any luck.

I have just read about it and it sounds like you have been dealt a shit hand.
I have a condition which means I have to take medication to "turn down" my immune system because it likes to attack all my joints for no apparent reason! I have lived with Psoriatic Arthritis for about 20 years now. I started out on 42 tablets a week but now I am down to 12. It was hell at first but things do get better.
