A pub is for life not just for Christmas
24 new pubs this month, with five above average:
The Crooked Billet
Dog & Fox
Hand In Hand
Rose & Crown
Hands down, POTM goes to The Sultan
With only 12 new pubs in May , POTM goes to a railway arch. Great for fans of continental beer, I'm still very much a novice.
It Ain't Much If It Ain't Dutch. There will be a review sometime hopefully in the near future.

I know Tris tends to confine his vote to 'new' pubs, but that's not a potm rule is it?
I understand that it broadens the horizon but truly great re-visited pubs would never again get a look-in..?

Hi Tris, you made it to the Sultan and even popped head into the nearby Nelson, but seemingly omitted the Traf?
Perhaps it was still marked closed when you did your research..?
Not open until 16:00 Mon-Thurs though...
Well spotted. I never review pubs by day and don't leave home until at least 7.30, meaning that I can only get so many pubs in before closing time, sometimes having to run to make last orders. I am going to polish off SW19 (one pub I wish I'd never set eyes on) and I'm going to include it with Prince of Wales and The Leather Bottle, but these have been delayed as the last pub is closed for refurbishment until Friday at the earliest, but I'm looking forward to the Traf.
