Sorry you couldn’t make it Steve, it was an excellent day. Brightonesque weather that had us southerners pinching ourselves outside the Upper George that we were actually in Halifax.
Some fantastic pubs and excellent ales quaffed and a top notch curry.
Now just waiting to hear if the AC/DC tribute band was worth £30.

Sorting out my various photos in the hotel this morning before taking a look at The Piece Hall before jumping on the train home.
There will probably be others but thought I’d just start with this piece of photo bombing by Tris at The Three Pigeons as he stares longingly at the pub across the road.

Should have been called the AB/CD tribute band?

    Yup.

Just got in 15 minutes ago; stupidly missed my connection for the last train from Leeds to K+ last night, so without WiFi/5G had to cross the road and fork out a ton of wedge for a night in The Crown, but I still got a bit of a night out in Leeds, discovering an new Thornbridge cask ale at their nearby outlet, which will be in the running for BOTW, so silver linings and all that.

Come on how did you do that then? My money is on you falling asleep on the Halifax - Leeds shuttle and found yourself back in Halifax. 🤣

No. I misread my Halifax departure time and the train I though I needed was also about five minutes late, so I got to Leeds just as the last train to London was leaving. And with an array of shower gels and potions, I still smell of Aloe Vera.
