Sorry I won't be able to join you, but I will be in Halifax a week earlier for something else so will probably get to many of the same venues.

Just as with the Cambridge crawl the other week, I've a Leeds Rhinos game on the evening of the pub crawl. Of course, from Halifax I could easily get to Headingley - or more easily than from Cambridge - but I'm not sure I'd be match fit.
Halifax Good Beer Guide pubs currently are:
Dukes 16-18 Market Arcade
København 6 Westgate Arcade
Meandering Bear 21-23 Union Street
Victorian Craft Beer Café 18-22 Powell Street
Three Pigeons 1 Sun Fold, South Parade
Cross Keys 3 Whitegate, Siddal
Big Six 10 Horsfall Street, Savile Park
Wainhouse Tavern Upper Washer Lane, Pye Nest
From memory, I think I've only been to two of those. No doubt there are others that are worth a look. Anyone?

The Grayston Unity

The Royal Oak may be worth a look
And I believe most of us will fit the target demographic for the new Micropub in town, according to the Halifax Chronicle

Oh, and also according to the Halifax Chronicle we will be going to the “Shoreditch of the North”.
Anyone care to comment?

The Upper George seems to be worth it as well.

I can endorse the GBG pubs listed except the Big Six and Wainwright Tavern but only because I haven’t visited them, they are a fair way out, perhaps a bus ride away. The Cross Keys at Siddal is a great pub but also not central, there’s a regular bus from near the Meandering Bear and Royal Oak and it is walkable if you like steep hills. The only pub nearby is Taylor’s Shears Inn.
Others falling into the try also category would be Vocation & Co, Ring O’Bells and MAMIL which I haven’t been to yet but if it’s like the one in Brighouse should be fine. The Royal Oak, Upper George and Grayston Unity have already been mentioned, I haven’t been in the Royal Oak for a while .
As for Legends, I would say don’t believe everything you read in newspapers. The rest of central Halifax pubs are mostly dross, although the ‘spoons isn’t bad.
Do check out the impressive Piece Hall and lookout for the Pub Paper which lists pubs and what beers are on sale on a weekly basis.
I visited in early 2023 on a mini tour and happy to endorse those that I visited namely Kobenhavn,Vocation,Royal Oak,Three Pigeons and Meandering Bear. Oldboots is also correct to mention having a squint at Piece Hall, very impressive building.
I really liked the Three Pigeons with it's mix of heritage and fine ale and it's not far from the station but only opens at 3pm on Friday so a visit needs planning.Crawl end point ?

The only Spoons I have actually seen a punch-up in! The Ex-Spoons Percy Shaw is interesting to see a Spoons that isn't a Spoons, but not worth much of a detour.
On leaving the bar, I felt a strong blow to the back of my head. Turning round, I discovered it was the pavement
