Next week a couple of days in Liverpool will certainly provide some new pubs and maybe some new beers.
"Everybody's got to believe in something. I believe I'll have another beer."

Kent:
Three Acre-Centennial Haze 4.3%abv. International Pale Ale.Floral, stone fruit.
McCanns-Cascade 3.1%abv.Session pale ale.Surprisingly tasty for the modest abv.Grapefruit,pinetrees.
Both new beers for me, my BOTW being Centennial Haze.
"At that moment I would have given a kingdom, not for champagne or hock and soda, or hot coffee but for a glass of beer" Marquess Curzon of Kedlestone, Viceroy of India.
All local and a decent week:
Oakham Bishops Farewell*
Blue Monkey Infinity +1*
Nethergate White Stout*
Growling Dog Raspberry Milk Stout*
North Cotswold Shagweaver*
Dr Dray Nightjar
Empire Porter*
Byatts Mythical Beast*
Abbeydale Absolution*
All starred would make a worthy BOTW but up against the mighty BOTW Blue Monkey Infinity +1 they paled slightly. An excellent, rich, moreish 5.6% beer which easily passed the 3 pint test.
"Beer is food." Morse, Colin Dexter
Birdingbury and Croydon,a modest week.

Luddite - Burning Mill.*
Blue Bee - Nelson Nectaron.
Luddite - 1812.
Luddite - Citra Lite.
A very solid bunch. Love working my way across the pumps, when I visit. I particularly enjoyed the Mosaic and Burning Mill, but the latter, a 5.4% smoked porter, really hit the spot. Taken at The Calder Vale Hotel, Horbury.
