It really is astonishing that companies can be put through these hoops just because a single knob-head is determined to go through life finding 'offence' with anything and everything, often on behalf of others (or other groups/demographics) who have signalled no offence whatsoever.
Heaven forbid this sad bastard finds himself or herself visiting York House and encountering the statues 'in the flesh' so to speak - "well, let's be rid of this 19th century abomination, I'm offended!!"
    Makes my (tm) blood boil...
Edit, bloody hell, I hadn't reached the moaning of the camra chair, what a complete twat, he or she (nik? who knows?) does not speak for a vast majority of the membership, I'm certain.

Can't say I get too involved with the workings of CAMRA.

Yes. But for those for whom pedantry isn't a religion, the revised pump clip is new.

Does the insertion of a definite article in the name of the beer make it new? I guess it does. Also the strap line is now "celebrating the statues of Twickenham" I can now ask for a pint of The Naked Ladies and suddenly I'm a sculpture aficionado.

The image is exactly the same, though.

Just to be clear, I don't/didn't have a problem with the naming of this beer. It was discussed on CAMRA's Discourse forum following the Portman Group's adjudication, and I think a lot of people disagreed with the chairman at the time, Nik Antona.
