    Very wrong Tris.

It's very quirky, full of wood panelling in both rooms and a statue of Lowry sat at the bar.

Not many Spoons built in 1868.

    We visit regularly.

It’s cosy in that it’s small, old, usually full of people, with fluffy rugs on furniture and candles. I’m not sure that the switch from chalk beer boards to electronic helps but they do tend to have good beer.

    Four for me I think.

I normally languish right at the bottom of these lists with very feeble numbers, but I can claim six of those -

Falkland Arms, Kay's Bar, King's Head, Lord Nelson, Ye Olde Mitre and Ypres Castle.

A couple of others were already on my list, and a couple more now added.

To be fair the photo is of the dining room, which I don't think is visible from the bar areas, but I did feel sorry for diners foolish enough not to consider the implications of the season ending games of 2011-2012 season, trying to enjoy a meal while bedlam ruled out front (after the Aguero moment), Lowry was resplendent in blue, but the bloody camera flash didn't work!
Not sure about Kays bar so 8 with, or 7 if not...

    Not wrong at all Ian.

'Quirky' isn't 'cosy' and a statue of Lowry wouldn't make a place any more so; until not that long ago, many 'spoons were built in the 19th century or earlier - it's only recently that Timbo has started shutting the smaller/older branches.
I'd be more than happy to give it a go though...

Not quite sure on the definition of 'cosy' here; some may well be welcoming on a dark and stormy night but that's true of most pubs.
    I reckon I have 11.
On leaving the bar, I felt a strong blow to the back of my head. Turning round, I discovered it was the pavement

Only four for me, Free Press, Kings Head, Ye Olde Mitre and Ypres Castle, at least a couple of bucket list pubs on the list missing from my meagre haul.
