Eight of those but not necessarily all in their current guise.

I reckon 15 of them, but mostly pre-gastro.
On leaving the bar, I felt a strong blow to the back of my head. Turning round, I discovered it was the pavement

Top 35 cosiest pubs. Or more precisely, the cosiest pub in each of the top 35 cosiest towns. I think. It looks complete rubbish to be honest, the top town is Gateshead with the corresponding pub looking to be just as much of an Indian restaurant as a pub (currently listed here under it’s old name, request submitted to amend).

Rubbish from my limited perspective. The Three Horseshoes (No. 8) isn't in Oxford (which is a city), but in Oxfordshire (which is a county) and for the last two years has been known as The Manor. A list as sloppy as the beer in a pub with a 'return tray'.

Similar story with The Wheel, supposedly in High Wycombe, which is actually a fair schlep out of the town on the mileage front, so they are likely looking at postal towns. 4/35 for me on first glance, but less conversation-initiating than some of the Time Out lists.

I agree, life is too short to be bombarded with pop ups! I think I've been in 3 of them but didn't look for long...
