Only two for me also, the Bell and The Countrymans Inn and both of these were pre BITE and PuG . But I think that says more about CAMRA's rules and selection focus nowadays than it does me.
Although a selection like this may be of interest to us, I'm not sure it excites and inspires many others and a list like this labelled as "The Top 16 UK pubs" does little to attract a younger drinking membership.
For example I showed this to a bunch of Thirysomethings who came along with their Dads for an evening beer in central London the other night and one comment was "so the best pub in London is a small micro well beyond the reach of the underground and overground!
