Saw Sir Spoonalot out jogging in Highgate last night.
Didn't actually meet him, but I saw Ian Hislop dressed as a Frenchman just outside Larkins' Alehouse on Saturday, Cranbrook's Fete de la Pomme.

Saw him and Pete Cook in Nellie Dean of Soho in 1990; Private Eye's HQ was and still is just around the corner. More odd if he'd been dressed as Philip Larkin outside The French House .
