I was in London for a few days this week, so went along yesterday to see what's what. It normally costs I think £8 to tour the vessel, being shown around by someone who knows about it. On Thursday evenings it's free to go on board and wander around, and I don't suppose anyone will force you to have a beer. There's an informal "gate" consisting of two volunteers who chat to people as they arrive, with the aim of avoiding a queue building up at the two ad hoc bars. There are two beers from nearby The Kernel brewery in Bermondsey, a pilsner and a hazy pale, plus other drinks (see attached photos). My half of the pale was £3.50, which is not an unusual price in London.

I mention it because there's still time for others to take advantage of this: there are three more Thursdays, the last one being 24th September. There was mention of this idea being repeated next summer, either for longer or for more days of the week, or both. I don't know how well informed this is, or whether it was just wishful thinking. The question is, should we add this vessel to this site? Or wait and see?
