The Albion is owned by Flowerpots, nice little pub.

Is it owned or leased from a pubco? If the home pub and brewery are up for sale then presumably this would be as well if they own the freehold.
I think it's going to become a regular thing older microbreweries retiring which I assume is what is going on here. At least there's no sign of Titanic stopping as they are currently working on a new BOD outlet in a former bank at Trentham.

Not quite disappearing, but the present brewery and tap room will close on the 21st June due to failure to agree a new lease.

The beers will be brewed at Black Sheep in Masham (who own York Brewery) while a new site in York is found.
Pittcue ec2 has closed and with it the Alphabetta brewery situated within.Dull beers imo.

I was told by a bloke in the Stourbridge Royal Exchange this week that there's a rumour going around that Batham's will sell up as they have no new blood willing to continue the business. I'm in the Victor Meldrew camp on this one but you never know.
