Have you tried booking anyway - https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/corona...s-vaccination/

If they've got capacity for those younger than the official age group you'll get a date.

I'd take the vaccine calculator with a pinch of salt. It gives me (62) first dose next week (I had it last week), second dose w/c 6 June, I'm booked in 25 May.

I was talking slightly tongue in cheek with the word 'younger', I'm just hanging on to my 50s by a few months...

Well done, Jim. Keep on hanging on for as long as you can. The 60s are not good...

Mind you 8 months in and they haven't been great so far.

    Nope. Me neither.

Yes. They'll wriggle out of their liability wherever possible.

Just tried booking 'dummy' travel insurance with the Post Office, which I usually use and I can't see any mention of 'clinical trials'.

The original instructions were that I'd be contacted. A friend who lives over the road from me (and is six months younger) has had her first jab. I live in a different borough from my GP and clinic, so I don't know if this makes a difference. The Vaccine Calculator does vary from week to week, depending on how the rollout programme proceeds. So obviously if the programme slips, the time to vaccination will increase.

I'm surprised you bothered looking, it's a load of blx, as he well knows or he would have evidence.

If the insurance industry pulled such a stunt you'd be sure the media would be across them at warp speed, and the regulators not far behind. In fact I wouldn't be at all surprised if some companies started offering discounts on premiums for the vaccinated, presenting, as they do, a lower risk of claims.

Got a call from my doctor today and I am booked for my jab tomorrow. Still just about clinging on to my 40's so my "underlying health condition" has bumped me up the queue!
