    And... They're off!

A short visit to Harrogate yielded two new pubs.

Three days in York added another 14 despite going there regularly. Now on 18!

2 visits to Manchester in a week added 5 new ones, most of them actual new bars.

Now on 23, a visit to Matlock and Matlock Bath will hopefully add quite a few more this weekend.

A visit to the slightly disappointing Matlock and the very disappointing Matlock Bath added another 12.

How can a tourist town like Matlock get away with closing so early!!!

Only 3 places in the whole town open until 11 or later on Sunday and Monday.

    Anyway now on 35.

These are often the quietest days of the week; I avoid exploring new pubs on these days as many are closed or have arbitrary opening hours.

Still slow going but gathered a little pace with 15 last month, so now on 38.
