    Default Salford

There are quite a few pubs in Greater Manchester - Salford that are listed as Greater Manchester - Manchester.

Not sure if they can be corrected, or if it really matters... Just thought I'd point it out

Do you have some examples I can check?

    Pendlebury is in Salford https://www.pubsgalore.co.uk/areas/p...er-manchester/

Swinton is also in Salford https://www.pubsgalore.co.uk/areas/s...er-manchester/

All of the pubs in Pendlebury are listed as Manchester and some of the pubs in Swinton are.

Unfortunately, this is an outbreak of 'post town madness', because the postal addresses of some pubs are correctly listed under the post town of Manchester, despite being in the Salford City Council area (i.e. they can't be changed).

However, because the Old Station House Hotel, Pendlebury is in the post town of Salford, this means that the area of Pendlebury features in both the Manchester and Salford post town lists so all four open pubs in the area of Pendlebury get listed either way.

    Ditto for Swinton.
