A poor quality picture but you get the gist, "Soupy takes some notes about the twigs"

The curse of Gann struck again, but it sounds like everyone got home in one piece,if a little lighter in the pocket.Great to see some old faces again and meet some new ones.Award for the furthest distance travelled to Nottingham must surely go to Real Ale Ray and Fiona, all the way from central Ireland and using Ryan Air

Looking forward to the next meet up,and hopefully will catch up with many of you in between as I slowly chug around the inland waterways.

    Cheers

Some of us went to the Hawksley as well, which was not one of the better decisions I made yesterday. I also went to Fellows Morton and Clayton twice, once while everyone was queuing in the Canalhouse and once again on the way to the station; it was a bit better in the evening than at lunch time.

The two I enjoyed the most were the Hand and Heart and the Sir John Borlase Warren, with the Organ Grinder a close third.

I got home to Sheffield so uneventfully that I feel almost ashamed...

...though to be fair I did have to get up at 7.30 this morning to go to work, so I think I deserved a bit of good fortune.

Great to meet everyone. Looking forward to the next one already.

That is a little uncalled for, I will have to try and find a better icon.

We can save that one in case Hoppie comes back

Looks like I was extinguished then

or is there a roll of dishonour still to come?

"There are lots of old photos on the walls, along with some posters and a large 'Blue Monkey' ape, which confused a couple of the PG crowd, who thought it was a mirror". Thanks for clarifying that Soupy - I thought I was looking a bit worse for wear.

PS - I can add breakfast and a pint in the Company as well although I didn't do the Twigwalk or the Hawksley.

Oops! Sorry, Tuffers, I was bound to miss out one. You are indeed worthy of inclusion in the honours list.

Trainman is also honoured because I wrote down his name twice originally
