My recollection of just a single visit to both is that they are pretty poor JDWs.
I thought The Gig House was crap, but then I would wouldn't I.

To be honest the six I gave it was probably generous. Lloyds bars on a bad day venture into Score Of Shame territory.

    Default The Smallest Spoons

Quinno asks in his review of the Harrow On The Hill one if it's their smallest outlet. It isn't as this one is without a shadow of a doubt the smallest. It's also on the edge of outer SE London's micropubland.

The world biggest beer fest starts today at Wetherspoons approx. 30 different cask beers.
Not the worlds biggest beer fest organised by Nottingham Camra also starts today with 1228 different cask beers

I had ten of them today on an East London Rampage. I was surprised to find the weakest one Celt (aka Evan Evans) Castro Mosaic was quite easily the best. The worst was the Zululand one, a complete waste of time.

A HUNCHED, shuffling red-nosed man sitting alone in Wetherspoons at 9.45am staring at a half-drunk pint is under 30, it has emerged.

Should get to try a few at the Mcspoons in Epsom tomorrow. From knowledge of previous fests I would have avoided Zululand beers but any beer with Mosiac hops gets a chance.

I would have thought that J.J. Moon's in Tooting would run it close?

No way! It's miles bigger, I suspect Harrow On the Hill may be smaller than that one but they are a completely different shape so who knows. That one near Croydon that became an Antic Pub was one of the smallest but still larger than the Banker's Draft.
