Several of the TOCs now have advance tickets for that weekend so you need to finalise this date and venue. I don't think you've left yourself enough time for a poll between Stockport and Manchester but if it's worth anything I'd choose Stockport over central Manchester every time, although you need to be selective with the plethora of Robinson's outlets.

Sorry, I seem to have misread what was going on. My biggest gripe about Stockport is that it's hilly!
I'll be clawing in some Devon Spoons on the Saturday.
