I did this a few years ago with the guys from the Beer & Pubs Forum. There are buses that get you there pretty quickly, and back again. I left the rest of the group at the Woodman, walked to Corporation Street to catch a bus, and arrived at the Bartons Arms 25 minutes after leaving the Woodman. I rejoined the group at the (now sadly demolished) Eagle & Tun 15 minutes after leaving the Bartons Arms.

What a lovely Heritage interior and what a pity it wasn't listed.
It would be a shame to omit it, since it is an anniversary and was here that the group pic was taken 10 years back... Ah, memories of Gill herding us onto buses in groups of five (for discount fares)...

Re the 10/11 year anniversary, I did wonder whether a fellow-pedant may raise the issue but, for heaven's sake Will, it's not like an apostrophe error or suchlike!!
It's still the 10th Anniversary, but the group picture outside the Bartons Arms was taken (almost) 11 years ago! You can't argue with the passage of time.
