The trips to Liverpool & Southport added another 14, so nearly doubling my total for the year so far.
Now on 30, which is still very low for this time in the year.
A pub is for life not just for Christmas
A trip to Atherton on Friday yielded a surprising 10 new ones, even though I've visited before.
Bar wise this is certainly an up and coming town with 7 of the 10 being new openings, sadly only 1 had real ale.
Now on 40.

October equally productive with the Brum crawl helping and a return to boating offering new ticks,so the year to date total is now 88 with the ton now easily in sight.
November includes lunchtime visits to Bradford and Grantham ,while the boating route south has a few micropubs that need checking out.

Not something I could afford to do again any time soon, I decided to do the One Month, 100 New Pubs Challenge, the main criteria being that each place had to be a proper pub, so no micros or railway arch dens, likewise no Peroni in a Café Rouge. I made it with 75 minutes to spare, only to find that my list had already hit the 100 mark, so 101 new pubs in October brings me up to 182 new visits for the year.
The end of October finds me sitting on 79.
