Not quite - you seem to have omitted The Tipperary Fleet Street, EC4 (which should have been listed in 4th place, with The Grapes and The Guinea being tied in 10th place)!

I've been to the Tipperary as well but again not recently. The Cheshire Cheese was always something of an attraction when it was the only London outlet for Pedigree I remember on a brewery visit way back being told that they delivered more Pedigree to there than the entire South of England. As far as I'm concerned Sam Smith ruined it.

Certainly been in the Tipperary as well but pre reviewing when I worked opposite the Old Bailey.We used to organise an annual Fleet Street crawl and end up in a curry house in The Strand.Happy Days.

Here's an interesting article in Hidden-London.com looking at the real ages of the many pubs claiming to be the oldest in London. How surprising that, with a couple of exceptions, most of the famous "olde worlde" ones are bogus for one reason or another!

I don't think I have visited the Wine Shades, which is part of El Vinos nowadays and may not even sell beer, but glad to say that I have been to all the rest.

All except The Spaniards Inn, including The Tipperary, largely pre-reviewing days.

The Olde Wine Shades used to be a regular haunt many years ago and they served beer then.
