Wouldn't mind a trip to Hop & Vine to see how it is under new ownership, but not finding atmosphere as relaxed/cheerful in older-clientele venues due to the residual fear.

To complete the pair, I am sat in the Cat & Fiddle, enjoying a pint of Robinson's Unicorn at 515 metres above sea level.
Update - slightly lower down now, at the Stanley Arms in the fabulously named hamlet of Bottom of the Oven.
I look forward to the day when someone posts that they are drinking here, as - not sure if it's a coincidence - it's the nearest pub to this place.
