Had a very good Titanic Plumb Porter in the Craft Beer Co. but then some less than impressive beers there,so my BOTW was another Titanic brew,All Aboard .A traditional brown colour but that distinct bitter bite for which Titanic are renowned.Supped in The Red Lion ,Fenny Stratford which had this as their weekend guest, lucky local punters.

Only a handful this week :-

    Portobello Pale 4.0%
East London Brewing Co Pale 4.0%
East London Brewing Co Nightwatchman 4.5%
Nethergate / Growler Essex Beast 6.2%
    Brodie's Superior London Porter 7.8%

The easy winner making a welcome return to the William IV is the London Porter.

    BOTW Brodie's Superior London Porter

Reasonable week for me, with eleven offerings:

    Bradfield - Farmers Blonde.
    Glentworth - Northern Gold.
    Oakham - Citra.
    Whim - Flower Power.
Coach House - Blunderbus Old Porter.
    Ridgeside - Rushmore.
    Fernandes - Galena Gold.
    Fernandes - Malt Shovel MILD.
    Titanic - Iceberg.
    Thornbridge - Jaipur.
Titanic - Chocolate & Vanilla Stout.

A two horse race between the C&V stout and the Citra. Last week the Citra was the also ran, as it seemed a little below par, in the Fernandes Tap. However, it was on fine form this week, in The Brewer's Pride, Ossett.

    Another steady week,
    Kelham Island Sheffield's Pride
    Milk Street The Usual
    Milk Street Funky Monkey
    Mordue IPA
    Darkstar Art of Darkness
    Flowerpots Stottidge Stout
    Flowerpots DFB
West Berks Auntie Ruths Kitchen Porter
    Downton Mad Hare

Some decent beers here but BOTW is Mordue IPA just edging out Kelham Island Sheffield's Pride.

Had my first serious BOTY contender this week - London Brewers Alliance Collaboration London Stout, brewed at the Kernel Brewery and happily chanced upon in The Snooty Fox.

There were a few other contenders that might've come out top any other week:

    Moor Revival
    Saltaire Cascade Pale Ale
    Bristol Beer Factory Californian
    London Fields Shoreditch Triangle IPA
