Unsurprisingly, it's an arty "making a statement" thing, rather than a commercial enterprise. And the writer of the article seems unsure whether to spell whisky with an 'e' or not, so switches randomly between both spellings.
Only for the truly dedicated, but an article from last weeks New Scientist about extracting energy from urine.

Enough of this toilet humour, surely this is the news story we all want to hear,

Too much pointless research feeds the number crunchers who feed those with points to make and products to sell. We are are all pawns ( prawns if Australian ) in the great game of Politics and Financial Reward for the already rich.
I envy those kids leaving school unable to read , write and no interest whatsoever in Current Affairs. They will not be bombarded by all this crap being churned out in the name of Public Information that fill TV time and newspaper columns. One claim refutes the claim made the day before. The originators think we have the retentative memories of goldfish...well some of us may have.
Grumpy Arwkrite will now go and buy the Daily Mail, remove the Crossword page leaving the news and editorial pages for some bored gullible idiot to brainwash himself with. I like my crossword and a pint or two. It is a complete none productive waste of time. Lovely.

Hey, BF. Wouldn't that be breaking your contract with John Smiths?

Think I'll stick with the normal process, booze into urine, not vise versa

At the risk of being outed as a Daily Mail reader, this had me in stitches today.

surely this is a pastiche of the "Devils Dictionary" rather than Dr Johnson's fine tome, which has but one joke - the definition of a Lexicographer. It is also often blamed for the introduction of the Received Pronounciation accent. Still it was in the Daily Wail

West Ham available at 25/1 Betfair, 20/1 highstreet.
I know that's probably a realistic assessment of their chances of winning at ot, but still surely a good price in a 3 horse race?
