It's that time of year again so I'm off to the Midlands on a protracted pub crawl with a little culture thrown in....maybe.

Sunday evening 8th September:- Telford (briefly) then Oakengates
Monday Lunchtime:- Much Wenlock then Bridgnorth until 5pm then off to Wolverhampton
Tuesday lunchtime/early evening:- Gornal and Sedgeley
    Wednesday all dayish: Stourbridge
    Thursday evening:- Birmingham City Centre
    Friday lunchtime:- Jewellery Quarter crawl
Friday evening:- Birmingham City Centre if I have the strength
Saturday:- back home with probably a stop between trains at the Sheffield Tap or in Leeds near the rail station.

Tamworth beer festival tomorrow, and then down to Minehead for the beer festival on the station there. Will be there Saturday and Sunday, and hope the weather is good Sunday as the combination of beer, steam trains and jazz wafting up to you on the platform is great.
Alcohol doesn't solve problems .... but then again, neither does milk.

Okay tapas and San Miguel sounds like you are going to Covent Garden. Give us another clue.

I was meant to be going to the horse racing at Thirsk today. I made it as far as York but then after a few in the York tap thought stuff the racing a day on the beer in York for me

Currently enjoying Minehead beer festival, but going to take the caravan to Barnard Castle for a few days next week before going on to York for a few days for the beer festival there.

Just noticed in London Drinker that LOSC is hosting a Marble Brewery Gala Night, Thurs 26Sep, from 17:00.
I think I may just make it to that one!
